Day 1. DUBROVNIK After independent arrival at Dubrovnik airport, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 2.  DUBROVNIK – MOSTAR – SARAJEVO After breakfast depart to Mostar. Enjoy a city tour of the Old City of Mostar the typical Turkish village immortalized by many artists and now a UNESCO World Heritage site. Tour its elegant Bridge, old Bazaar, the Mosque and a Typical Turkish house. Continue to Sarajevo. Afternoon city tour of Sarajevo, including Bascarsija,  and Gazi Husref Bey Mosque. Overnight in Sarajevo.

Day 3. SARAJEVO - OSIJEK After breakfast, drive north to Slavonski Brod where we stop for lunch (not included). Continue to Osijek, and overnight .

Day 4. OSIJEK - ZAGREB   In the morning city tour of Osijek, visiting the Baroque Fortress, St. Trinity Square, Water Gate and other city highlights. After the tour, drive down to the wine trail to 1526 cellar for wine tasting. Continuation to Zagreb and overnight.

Day 5. ZAGREB - PLITVICE Morning city tour of Zagreb, including the fortified Upper Town, the city's historical center, St. Mark's Church with its multicolored roof, the Cathedral, the Croatian National Theater and the University. After the city tour, drive to Plitvice and tour the Plitvice Lakes National Park on the UNESCO's List of World Natural Heritage. Sixteen lake, each at a different level, are joined in a series of cascading waterfalls. Surrounded by dense wood Plitvice Lakes are a natural phenomenon of a rare and unique beauty. Overnight in Plitvice.

Day 6. PLITVICE –  TROGIR – SPLIT Morning departure for Trogir where we visit the Cathedral of St. Lawrence.Continue to Split. City tour of Split, including the Diocletian’s Palace on UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage with Peristyle, Jupiter‘s Temple and the Cathedral. Overnight in Split.

Day 7. SPLIT – DUBROVNIK After breakfast , departure to Dubrovnik. Sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik, included in UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage. You will visit the Franciscan Monastery with Europe’s third oldest pharmacy, the Rector’s palace and the Cathedral. Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 8. DUBROVNIK After breakfast, the tour ends with transfer to Dubrovnik airport.

Day 4 SPLIT - DUBROVNIK After breakfast , departure for Dubrovnik. Sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik included on the UNESCO`s List of World Cultural Heritage. You will visit the Franciscan Monastery with Europe's third oldest pharmacy, the Rector's Palace and the Cathedral. Overnight in Dubrovnik

Day 4. ZADAR – ZAGREB After breakfast city tour of Zadar, including the Roman Forum and St. Donatus Church, a magnificent monument of Romanesque Architecture. Afternoon departure to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Overnight in Zagreb.

Day 5. ZAGREB – PLITVICE Morning city tour of Zagreb, including the fortified Upper Town, the city’s historical center, St. Mark’s church with its multicolored roof, the Cathedral, the Croatian National Theater and University. Afternoon departure to the Natural park famous for its lakes and waterfalls.  Plitvice. Overnight Plitvice.

Day 6. PLITVICE After breakfast tour the Lakes national park listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site., when sixteen beautiful lakes are connected with cascading waterfalls surrounded by dense forest. Overnight in Plitvice.

Day 7. PLITVICE - TRILJ - DUBROVNIK Departure after breakfast to Dubrovnik via Trilj and along the Cetina River valley. Overnight in Dubrovnik, rest of the evening free.

Day 3 TIRANA – OHRID / Macedonia After breakfast sightseeing tour of Tirana, the capital of Albania, including Skender Bey Square, the Mosque of Ethem Bey and a visit to the National Museum representing the flow of Albanian history and housing the finds from archeological sites across the country. Afternoon departure for Ohrid, driving via Elbasan and crossing the Macedonian border at Cafasan. Overnight in Ohrid.

Day 4 OHRID Full day in the lakeside resort of Ohrid, classified as UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage site. Through the activity of St. Clement and St. Naum of Ohrid, the first pan-Slavic University in Europe, the famous “Ohrid Literary School” was founded here. Morning sightseeing tour includes the church of St. Sofia (11th century), the most eminent mediaeval monument in Macedonia with magnificent Byzantine fresco paintings and St. Clement Church with its icon of Annunciation. In the afternoon a short drive to visit St. Naum Monastery built on the shores of Ohrid Lake in 900 A.D. and dedicated to the Slavic missionary and educator St. Naum of Ohrid. Return to hotel and overnight.

Day 5 OHRID – SKOPJE Morning departure for Skopje. Sightseeing tour of Skopje, including the Kale Fortress, the Church of the Holy Savior with its iconostas, one of the finest samples of traditional walnut woodcarving, Old Bazaar and Stone Bridge. We drive to the slopes of the Vodno Mountain where we visit the Monastery of St Panteleimon with its 12th century iconostas and frescoes ranking among the highest achievements of Byzantine art of this period. Overnight in Skopje.

Day 6 SKOPJE – KOLAŠIN / MONTENEGRO Morning departure for Kolašin, driving via Peć and Berane and along the impressive Morača River Canyon. Afternoon arrival at Kolašin, spreading on the left bank of the river Tara, situated at the altitude of 954m. The whole area is surrounded by the thick pine forest of the Bjelasica Mountain and is a popular skiing and air spa resort. Overnight in Kolašin.

Day 7 KOLAŠIN – CETINJE – KOTOR – DUBROVNIK Morning departure for Cetinje where we visit King Nikola Museum, once the residence of the Montenegrin King Nikola I Petrović. Continuation to Budva and Kotor, classified as UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage, where we visit its Romanesque Cathedral dedicated to St. Triphun, the city’s patron saint. We continue to Dubrovnik driving along the picturesque Bay of Kotor. Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 8 DUBROVNIK – Departure Breakfast followed by departure transfer to Dubrovnik Airport

1st day: Corinth Canal - Nafplion - Mycenae - Olympia Leave Athens by the coastal road to the Corinth Canal (short stop). Drive on and visit the Theatre of Epidaurus, famous for its remarkable acoustics. Then proceed to the town of Nafplion for a short visit. Drive on to Mycenae and visit the Archaeological Site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Then depart for Olympia through Central Peloponnese and the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Overnight in Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games. 2nd day: Olympia - Delphi In the morning visit the Archaeological Site with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium and the Archaeological Museum of Olympia. Then drive on through the plains of Eliad and Achaia until the magnificent bridge which is crossing the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion. Pass by the picturesque towns of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea, arrive in Delphi. Overnight in Delphi. 3rd day: Delphi - Kalambaka In the morning visit the Archaeological Site and the Museum of Delphi. After lunch depart for Kalambaka, a small town stated at the foot of the astonishing complex of Meteora, gigantic rocks. Overnight in Kalambaka.

4th day:  Meteroa- Archeological Park of Dion - Thessaloniki Visit Meteora, among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks which seem to be suspended in mid- air, stand ageless Monasteries, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Depart from Kalambaka, drive through the plain of Thessaly and the valley of Tempi, arrive and visit the Archaeological Park of Dion. Admire also the gigantic figure of Mount Olympus. After the visit depart for Thessaloniki, the second largest and the most vibrant city in Greece. Overnight in Thessaloniki.

5th day 2013:  Veria - Naoussa - Edessa - Pella - Thessaloniki Depart in the morning for a unique approach to historical Macedonia. First stop at Veria to visit Saint Paul’s Bema. Then stroll through the old Jewish neighbourhood and the colourful market area. A walk in the city where past is present Then proceed to Naoussa, a site of exceptional beauty and importance: Aristotle's School, the impressive scenery where the great philosopher taught ‘the doctrines of morals and politics’ to Alexander. In only a few miles away is picturesque Edessa where you can see the town’s famous landmark, the Waterfalls. Then comes Pella, the capital of Alexander the Great. See the exquisite floor mosaics of the 4th century B.C. villas, in situ as well as in the local Museum. Return to Thessaloniki for overnight.

5th day 2014: Kastoria - Edessa - Pella - Thessaloniki Depart in the morning for the Macedonian hinterland and the town of Kastoria, renown centre of the fur industry and also famous for its Lake and its 75 Byzantine churches. A Neolithic Lake Settlement 7000 years old, was discovered here and you will be able to stroll through and admire the reconstruction of the village which represents the contemporary museological concept. After Kastoria continue driving in the plateau of Western Macedonia and arrive in the picturesque town of Edessa. Here you can see the town’s famous landmark, the Waterfalls. Then, proceed to Pella, the capital of Alexander the Great. See the exquisite floor mosaics of the 4th century BC. villas, in situ as well as in the local Museum. Return to Thessaloniki for overnight. 6th day:  Thessaloniki  Visit Thessaloniki and feel the glorious Byzantine past in some of the most characteristic churches of the Christian world as well as in the Museum of Byzantine Culture. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Thessaloniki.

7th day: Vergina - Lamia - Thermopylae - Thebes - Athens Drive to Vergina, to live the experience of a visit to the unique Museum, created in the Great Tumulus covering the royal tombs of Macedonia. See the astonishing findings from the tomb of King Philip II, Alexander’s father, and feel the thrill of the greatest discovery of the 20th century. After the visit we shall start driving south and through Thessaly, Lamia, Thermopylae (see the Leonidas’ Monument) and Thebes, arrive in Athens late in the afternoon.

3rd day 2013 : Depart in the morning for a unique approach to historical Macedonia. First stop at Veria to visit Saint Paul’s Bema. Then stroll through the old Jewish neighbourhood and the colourful market area. A walk in the city where past is present Then proceed to Naoussa, a site of exceptional beauty and importance: Aristotle's School, the impressive scenery where the great philosopher taught ‘the doctrines of morals and politics’ to Alexander and the Macedonian youths. In only a few miles away is picturesque Edessa where you can see the town’s famous landmark, the Waterfalls. Then comes Pella, the capital of Alexander the Great. See the exquisite floor mosaics of the 4th century B.C. villas, in situ as well as in the local Museum. Return to Thessaloniki for overnight.

3rd day 2014: Depart in the morning for the Macedonian hinterland and the town of Kastoria, renown center of the fur industry and also famous for its Lake and its 75 Byzantine churches. A Neolithic Lake Settlement 7000 years old, was discovered here and you will be able to stroll through and admire the reconstruction of the village which represents the contemporary museological concept. After Kastoria continue driving in the plateau of Western Macedonia and arrive in the picturesque town of Edessa. Here you can see the town’s famous landmark, the Waterfalls. Then, proceed to Pella, the capital of Alexander the Great. See the exquisite floor mosaics of the 4th century b.C. villas, in situ as well as in the local Museum. Return to Thessaloniki for overnight.

4th day: Visit Thessaloniki and feel the glorious Byzantine past in some of the oldest and most characteristic churches of the Christian world as well as in the Museum of Byzantine Culture. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Thessaloniki.

5th day: Drive to Vergina, to live the experience of a visit to the unique Museum, created in the Great Tumulus covering the royal tombs of Macedonia. See the astonishing findings from the tomb of King Philip II, Alexander’s father, and feel the thrill of the greatest discovery of the 20th century. After the visit we shall start driving south and through Thessaly, Lamia, Thermopylae (see the Leonidas’ Monument) and Thebes, arrive in Athens late in the afternoon.

3rd day: Delphi - Kalambaka In the morning visit the Archaeological Site and the Museum of Delphi. Depart for Kalambaka, a small town stated at the foot of the astonishing complex of Meteora, gigantic rocks. Overnight in Kalambaka.

4th day: Meteora - Trikala - Larnia - Thermopylae - Athens Visit Meteora, among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks which seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless Monasteries, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (short stop to see across the road the Leonida’s Monument). Arrive in Athens early in the evening.

Day 6 Visit the monasteries at Meteora and in the afternoon drive via Larissa to Leptokaria or Litochoro for the overnight (178 kms).

Day 7 Visit Dion (13 kms), a sacred location of the ancient Macedonians at the foot of Mt. Olympos. On to Vergina (90 kms), diggings over the years unearthed three very important tombs. Continue for the overnight in Thessaloniki (68 kms).

Day 4 Departure via Poglyiros to ancient Amphipolis (130km) to visit the archaeological site and its museum. Continue to Kavala, a city of particular charm (91kms). Overnight in Kavala.

Day 5 Visit of Kavala and Philippi (16 kms) where the first Christian in Europe was baptized by St. Paul. Continue to Xanthi (56 kms) and Avdira (20kms) for sightseeing Overnight in Xanthi.

Day 6 Continuation of your trip via Lagos (24 kms southeast of Xanthi), a pretty village to the south of Lake Vistonis, a refuge for rare birds. On to Komotini for sightseeing.
