Day 1 Arrive at Dheli: Arrive Indira Gandhi International Airport, meet, assist and transfer to Hotel. Day 2 Delhi: Today you will proceed for a full-day tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid, which is the largest mosque in India, commissioned by Emperor Sha Jahan. Enjoy a rickshaw ride in Chandni CXhowk, busiest market in Old Delhi - noisy, chaotic and uniquely indian. Driva past Red Fort, President House, India Gate and severeal other government buildings in Edwin Lutyen's modern Delhi before you head to Rajghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi that marks the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Thereafter, visit Humayun's thomb, commissioned by Humayun's wife Hamida Banu Begum in 1562. Later in the evening visit the Qutab Minar, which is the tallest brick minaret in the world. Day 3 Delhi - Agra (By surface 205km / 5 hrs): This morning drive to Agra. A little before Agra we stop at Sikandra to visit the mausoleum of the great Emperor Akbar. On arrival in Agra check in at the hotel. Later in the evening visit Taj Mahal, a poem in white marble, built by Shahjahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumatz Mahal. Also enjoy Tonga ride. Overnight in Agra. (Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays)
Day 4 Agra 1 Jaipur (By surface 232km / 5 hrs): This morning after breakfast will visit Agra Fort, built by Emperor Akbar in 1565. Inside are several palaces and the largest of pure marble mosques - the Moti Masjid, a magnificient citadel with exquisite marble places, ornate alcoves and terrace pavillions. Later drive to Jaipur, enroute visits Fatehpur Sikri. It is a beautiful and deserted medieval city built by Emperor Akbar in th 16th century to serve as the capital of his vast empire. The Mughal-s later abandoned this city due to scarcity of water. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 5 Jaipur: This morning after breakfast, proceed for a half-day excursion trip that takes you to Amber Fort with Elephant ride, Amber Fort is a classical romantic Rjasthani Fort Palace. En route make a photo stop at the palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal). In the afternoon visit the "Ping City" of Jaipur. Visit City Palace and the Royal Observatory. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 6 Jaipur - Delhi (By surface 258km / 6 hrs): Today drive back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi transfer to International airport to connect flight back home.

Hundreds of Buddhist monks live here and there are richly painted and intricately decorated Tibetan Temples to be seen here. Arrive Coorg and check in to your hotel. Overnight in Coorg.
Day 3 Coorg: Proceed for a full day tour of Coorg. Visit to Raja's Seat, a small pavilion with a garden surrounding it, offering a view of the spectacular Blue Mountains around. Later, visit the Dubare Elephant Camp, where elephants are trained. A naturalist is at hand to explain the various aspects of Elephant history, ecology and biology. Overnight in Coorg.
Day 4 Kabini: Drive to Kabini (110 kms / 2.5 hrs approx). Arrive Kabini and check in to your hotel. Kabini is one of the most popular wildlife destinations of Karnataka, probably because of its easy accessibility, lush green landscape, surrounding a large picturesque lake, and fantastic sightings of large herds of elephants. Situated on the banks of the River Kabini, this forest reserve is spread over 55 acres of forestland, steep valleys and water bodies. Optional In the afternoon, enjoy a jeep safari in the wildlife sanctuary. The forest reserve houses the single largest congregation of Asiatic elephants. Day 1 Leh: Early morning, Proceed for airport to board your flight to Leh. On arrival, you will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel where you will rest, and give yourself time to get acclimatized to the higher altitude. Overnight in Leh.
Day 2 Leh: Proceed for a tour of Hemis Monastery (one way 43 kms / 2 hrs approx), which was constructed in 1630, and is the largest monastery in the region. It is managed by the Drukpa sect of Buddhists. The annual Hemis festival honoring Padmasambhava is held here in early June. Later, visit the Sindhu Ghat, a peaceful riverbank nestled in the surreal landscape. The barren mountains, the river skipping over stones, make for a perfect picture postcard. Overnight in Leh.
Day 3 Leh: Proceed for a full‐day tour of Pangong Lake (one way 145 kms / 4.5 hrs approx). Driving to Pangong Lake is perhaps the most scenic journey in the Himalayas. The lake itself is situated at an altitude of 14,000 feet. The lake bisects the international border of India and China. Afterwards you will visit the village of Tanchang, where in you can enjoy walking around the quaint little lanes. Return to Leh. Overnight in Leh.
Day 4 Leh: Proceed for a full-day tour of Kahrdung La Pass (one way 39 kms / 2 hrs approx). At 18380ft, it is considered the world's highest motorable road. This pass on the Ladakh Range lies north of Leh and is the gateway to the Shyok and Nubra valleys. The Siachen Glacier lies partway up the latter valley. Khardung La is historically important as it lies on the major caravan route from Leh to Kashgar in Chinese Central Asia. Overnight in Leh.
Day 5 Leh: Proceed for a full-day tour of Leh. Visit the Shanti Stupa. Constructed by a Japanese Buddhist organization for world peace, the stupa is a magnificent white-domed structure. 11 Thereafter, explore the Matho Monastery- the only monastery under the Saskya monastic Establishment in Leh. The monastery houses a marvelous collection of ancient thankas. Proceed to the Leh Palace- an excellent example of the medieval Tibetan architecture. It features colossal inclined buttressed walls and protruding wooden balconies. Explore the Museum Hall of Fame, which houses information related to Leh culture, way of life, history, vegetation and animals found in this part of the world. Visit the Stok Gompa... it dates back to the 14th century and was founded by Lama Lhawang Lotus. Return to Leh in the evening.

Naina Devi Temple is one of the highly venerated Shakti Temples in India. According to Hindu mythology, Sati, consort of Lord Shiva, killed herself by jumping in the sacrificial fire. Shiva started roaming the entire universe with the body of Sati in his arms. Lord Vishnu dismembered the dead body of Sati to calm down the anger of Shiva. Various body parts of Sati fell at fifty-one different places in India that later became sacred as Shakti Peeths. Stroll around Naini lake, and evening visit the Mall road. Overnight in Nainital.

Day 4 Nainital: Drive to Kausani (119 kms / 3 hrs approx). The major attraction at Kausani is that it offers wondrous vistas of the Kumaon Himalayas. In the morning, visit the Anashakti Ashram, a landmark of Kausani. The Ashram is renowned for its association with Mahatma Gandhi, who once stayed there. In this time he wrote a book called Anasakti Yoga. This book is available at the ashram library, which also houses a rich collection of other books. Visit the Rudradhari Falls and Caves, situated among terraced green paddy fields, and dense, fragrant pine forests. These magnificent waterfalls are a natural attraction here, and many ancient caves abound nearby. Puranic stories associate this place with Lord Shiv (Rudra) and Lord Vishnu (Hari). The Rudradhari Temple is a refitted natural cave in a magical setting, with dense oak forests stretching above. Overnight in Nainital.
Day 5 Corbett: Drive to Corbett (120 kms / 2.5 hrs approx). Arrive Corbett and check in to your hotel. Situated in the picturesque Kumaon hills in Nainital district, Corbett National Park has a population of 582 species of birds, 26 species of reptiles, 7 species of amphibians and 50 species of mammals. It is named after the famous hunter and naturalist, Jim Corbett, who popularized this land and its animals in his book "The Man-Eaters of Kumaon". Overnight in Corbett.
Day 6 Corbett: Today, take a morning jeep safari in the park. Corbett is particularly famed for its tiger population. Overnight in Corbett.
Day 7 Mussoorie: Drive to Mussoorie (290 kms / 7.5 hrs approx). Arrive Mussoorie and check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight in Mussoorie.
Day 8: Mussoorie: Proceed for a full-day tour of Mussoorie. Visit the famous Mall Road... the Mall is Mussoorie's main artery. Running through Kulri Bazaar, on towards Library Chowk, the Mall offers an amazing variety of pastimes. Later, take the cable car that starts from the Mall and goes up to Gun Hill, enjoying the mesmeric views of the Himalayan peaks and a bird's eye view of Mussoorie and its environs. Afterwards, visit Kempty falls, located 15 kms from Mussoorie. The falls offer a breathtaking view of the water cascading down forty feet, splitting into five streams on the way. ITINERARY
Day 1 - Activity: Arrival

Day 2 - Activity: Mountain Trekking
Breakfast. You will test your mettle against the unforgiving slopes of a mountain today. The trail will ascend slowly through the tree line. The spectacular scenery unfolds before you once you reach the grasslands. By mid-morning you will reach one of the most romantic spots you will encounter a heart shaped lake hidden in the grassy hollow half way up the mountain. Take a break and lots of photographs. The trail will hit a ridge now and rear up at a steep angle all the way to the peak. The summit provides stunning views of forested valleys and peaks on the other side that makes the all the hardship worthwhile. Have lunch enjoying the view before starting the descent. The descend will get you to the trail head by late evening, and you will to the homestay by sundown for a well-earned rest. Home Stay at: Pranavam Retreat
Day 3 - Activity: Cycling
Breakfast. We will go on a cycling trip through tea country (distance: ~ 50kms). During the course of the ride you can choose to stop at a couple of points of interest - a bamboo handicrafts factory and an NGO that supports hundreds of local women. The smooth tarmac will suddenly plunge down to backcountry roads and then land you into a mud trail cutting through paddy fields. The physical challenge of negotiating this section will be compensated by the view when you start following the shoreline of the shimmering lake. You will take a break at the dam and take in the view of the distant rampart of mountains. The ride will continue through patches of mud trail, backcountry roads and smooth tarmac to finally return to the homestay. Home Stay at: Pranavam Retreat
Day 4 - Activity: Wildlife
Breakfast. We will leave very early and head to the Muthanga spotting Wildlife Sanctuary for a 7 hour trek through dense tropical deciduous jungle, accompanied by an armed forest ranger and guides. Day 5 - Activity: Cycling and Kayaking
Breakfast. We will start the day off with some cycling along the backroads, winding through coffee plantations, rice fields and village communities. Day 6 - Activity: Light jungle hiking and river crossing
After breakfast, we will head to the magical Kuruva island on the Kabini river. Kuruva island (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kuruvadweep) is a 950 acre island with an unspoilt forest right in the middle of the river. It is home to rare flora and fauna, including many endemic species of birds and butterflies. We will do several river crossings on foot here a hair-raising experience for the uninitiated, but perfectly safe. We will also have an opportunity to visit a tribal village and interact with some of the oldest inhabitants of an authentic vegetarian multi-course Kerala lunch served on banana leaves at a local home. Itinerary

Day 1: Bangalore - Mysore

Pickup from Bangalore airport and transit to Mysore (trip duration: ~3.5 hrs). Arrive in Mysore and check into hotel. Optional evening visit to Mysore palace.
Day 2: Mysore - Coorg
Early morning walking tour of Mysore (conducted by Royal Mysore Walks, including traditional breakfast. Drive to Bylakuppe (trip duration: 2hrs) to visit Tibetan settlement and monastery. Lunch en-route. Check-in to resort. Evening jungle safari in jeep. Trip briefing around dinner camp fire.
Day 3: Coorg
Early morning river cruise in a coracle. This is a chance to see the endemic bird population. After breakfast, you will have an opportunity to see and interact with the camp elephants, including giving them a bath in the river, accompanied by an interaction with the resident naturalist.
We will check out of the resort and drive to Kutta in South Coorg (trip duration: 2hrs) with lunch en-route. As we approach Kutta, we will transfer onto waiting cycles and cycle approx 25-30kms through pretty coffee plantations.
Day 4: Coorg - North Wayanad
We will drive to the nearby Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary for a 6 hour trek through dense tropical deciduous jungle, accompanied by an armed forest ranger and guides. This is an exciting opportunity to see elephant, bison, deer and a variety of flora and fauna at close quarters. On the way to the resort, we will stop at a little wayside eatery which is famous for unniappams(Unniappams are made of powdered rice mixed with jaggery and coconut and deep fried. This is a local delicacy. This particular shop grows it's own rice which is powdered on the premises and they also grow their own coconuts, from which they extract oil for the frying.)
Day 5: Wayand
We will drive through Begur forests to the start of the Pakshipathalam trek. The trail winds through rainforest and shola forest until we reach the high altitude grasslands. Our objective is to explore the mystical Pakshipathalam caves – an ancient place where sages used to meditate eons past. We will return to a resort by evening. (total distance: ~18kms)
Day 6: Wayand
After breakfast, we will head to the magical Kuruva island on the Kabini river. Kuruva island is a 950 acre island with an unspoilt (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kuruvadweep) forest right in the middle of the river. It is home to rare flora and fauna, including many endemic species of birds and butterflies. We will do several river crossings on foot here – a hair-raising experience for the uninitiated, but perfectly safe. We will also have an opportunity to visit a tribal village and interact with some of the oldest inhabitants of Wayanad. Lunch will be an ‘ela sadya’ – an authentic vegetarian multi-course Kerala lunch served on banana leaves at a local home. In the evening, we will drive south to a plantation homestay.
Day 7: Wayand
We will go on a cycling trip through tea country (distance: ~ 50kms). During the course of the ride you can choose to stop at a couple of points of interest - a bamboo handicrafts factory and an NGO that supports hundreds of local women. The smooth tarmac will suddenly plunge down to backcountry roads and then land you into a mud trail cutting through paddy fields. The physical challenge of negotiating this section will be compensated by the view when you start following the shoreline of the shimmering lake. You will take a break at the dam and take in the view of the distant rampart of mountains. The ride will continue through patches of mud trail, backcountry roads and smooth tarmac to finally return to the plantation homestay.
Day 8: Wayand
After breakfast, we will check out of the homestay and drive to Edom Estates where we will go on a plantation walk. Edom is a 150 acre coffee and spice plantation. You will have the opportunity to see a variety of spices such as cardamom, pepper, nutmeg, vanilla and also walk through rice fields and banana plantations. The walk will last a couple of hours and you will be accompanied by a guide who will explain what you are seeing. The walk will last about 1.5 hours. Lunch will be a sumptuous spread of traditional Kerala vegetarian dishes served on banana leaves. We will then walk down to a local river for some bamboo rafting. Lifejackets are mandatory and a local raftsman will accompany you. Bamboo rafting is a gentle enjoyable experience that gives you an opportunity to see the river life at close quarters.
Day 9: Wayand - Thalassery
After breakfast, we will drive to the plains via the picturesque and age-old Periya pass, arriving at Thalassery by late afternoon. In the evening, we will catch a Theyyam performance. Theyyam is an age-old form of ritual Hindu worship that is practiced only in North Kerala. The dancers have elaborate make-up with spectacular head-gear that can be several feet tall. Theyyam is performed only in temples – Theyyam dancers are forbidden from performing commercially.
Day 10: Thalassery - Nileswaram
After breakfast, we will visit the St.Angelo fort, built by the Portugese in 1505 followed by the Chirakkal Folklore Academy (http://www.kannurtourism.com/kerala_folklore_academy.html). From here, we will visit the Arakkal museum (http://www.kannurtourism.com/arakkal_museum.html) – this is a museum dedicated to the Arakkal family, the only Muslim royal family in Kerala. After lunch, we will head to Nileswaram further up the coast.
Day 11: Nileswaram
The backwaters south of Nileswaram are an idyllic paradise framed by coconut plantations. The best way to enjoy the solitude is to kayak through the myriad channels and this is what we will do after breakfast for a few hours. We will return to the resort for lunch. Rest of day at leisure.
Day 12: Nileswaram - Kochi
We will board an early-morning 8AM train and head to Kochi in the south. We will reach there by about 4PM.
Day 13: Houseboat / Kochi
After breakfast, we will drive south and board a traditional houseboat. You will spend the next 18 hrs cruising the expansive backwaters that are unique to Kerala. A must see experience!!
Day 14: Kochi
You will check out of the houseboat and return to Kochi. You can spend the day at leisure. An optional Kochi city tour, shopping trip, Kathakali show, traditional ayurvedic massage, Kerala cookery class etc. can be arranged in Kochi
Day 15: Kochi
Breakfast and checkout for your onward flight from Kochi airport

Activity descriptions
Cycling routes will be primarily smooth tarmac with tree cover along significant parts of the route. Terrain is undulating. Most uphill sections are short, and usually followed by a downhill section. Short sections of off-road trail.
All cycle rides will be followed by 2 support vehicles – one for the guests and one for the cycles. Guests have the option of sitting it out and travelling in the support vehicle. There will be a 5minute halt every hour to ensure that everyone remains hydrated and for eating some fruit/snacks.
Mountain bikes (21 geared or 24 geared) and cycling helmets will be provided. Riders need to bring other personal gear such as gloves if required.
Hikes and treks will be through a mix of rain forest, bamboo thickets and high altitude grassland. Leeches and leech bites are likely. Leech socks will be provided, but these are only a deterrent and do not guarantee protection.

Cycling Rider skill requirements
Good familiarity with gears, and their proper use to minimize pedalling effort
No off-roading skills required
Downhill riding skills not required

Day 01: Arrive Mumbai

Breakfast, Morning free time. Afternoon leave for a guided excursion trip to Street Children Project at Koperkhairane. Overnight in Mumbai.
Day 03: Mumbai - (B/D)
After breakfast, we explore the Gateway of India, the entrance to the port of Mumbai and then cruise towards Elephanta Island (Monday closed), a Unesco World Heritage Site this island originally known as Gharapurti was renamed as Elephanta after the Portuguese found the carved elephant there. The main attraction of the island is the four rock cut temples dating back to 5th-8th century AD. The most renowned is the cave sculpture of 'Trimurthi', a three headed figure almost 20 feet in height, of Lord Shiva as a creator, preserver and destroyer. Afternoon cover some attractions of the city including the Prince Wales Museum (Monday closed), India's finest museums and houses treasures, artefacts, paintings and sculpture from the many periods covering India's history, including the Indus Valley Civilization. Dhobi Ghat, the city’s open-air municipal laundry where thousands wash clothes brought daily from around the city. Also see the memorial at Mani Bhawan, once the residence of Mahatma Gandhi. If time permits visit School in Kurala. Overnight in Mumbai.
Day 04: Train Mumbai / Pune (Deccan Exp - 0710/1110 Hrs) - (B/D)
After early breakfast transfer to the Railway Station and board train to Pune, Met upon arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Pune.
Day 05, 06, 07: Pune - (B/D)
Free Days at Pune. Overnight in Pune.
Day 08: Fly Pune / Goa (IT2821, 1225/1330) - (B/D)
After breakfast transfer to airport for flight to Goa. Met upon arrival at Goa airport and transfer to the beach resort. Overnight in Goa.

Day 04: Pokhara
Morning Breakfast at Hotel. Later half day sightseeing tour Seti Gorge, Bhindhabasini Temple, Old Bazaar, Dev's falls, Gupteshwor cave. Afternoon free on their own activities. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara.
Day 05: Pokhara - Kathmandu
